Carpenters　的作品，大概是我從有記憶以來，

最先接觸的幾個流行音樂之一，當然也是最愛之一！

她們主要的特色，是用清新的旋律搭配上柔美的歌聲而打動人心，

這樣的音樂對我來講，是再美不過的歌曲類型；

也因為他們從小就在我心裡建立起深刻的音樂印象，

而使得我之後所喜愛的歌曲，大多都屬於這類型的性質。

只要用心，簡單的旋律、節奏，配以柔美的聲音，也可成為天籟！


雖然 Carpenters 是個很傑出的樂團，但是有一件事很令人婉惜！

Karen Carpenter，也就是 Carpenters 的女主唱，

為了保持身材的苗條，而長期服用輕瀉劑，然後再加上長期的節食，

最後於１９８３年２月４日，因『神經性厭食症』死於她的父母懷中！

這大概也是為什麼，我之所以會那麼討厭 ──

『有的女生明明已經很瘦，卻總是嫌自己太胖、一直想減肥！』的原因之一！


而這首『Close to You』，對我來講，

算是意義重大的曲子之一，

我也曾兩度於音樂會中擔任此首之 Solo 演出，

所以我並不打算在此跟各位分享這首曲子，

有興趣的路人甲、乙、丙、...們，請放心，

Carpenters 的音樂在各唱片行都很容易找到，

So...就有勞您請自跑一趟唱片行吧...^___^

而且現在網路那麼方便，要宅配到府也不是件難事！

大概只有具特殊意義的人，

才有可能從我這裡聽到這首曲子...
